  • POOL PH MAINTAINER

This product is a liquid pH controller specifically formulated to lower both pH and total alkalinity levels in swimming pool water. Maintaining the pH between 7.2 and 7.8 is crucial for optimal sanitizer performance, clearer water, and the overall health of your pool system.

For best results, test the pH levels before your daily sanitizer addition using a reliable test kit. Testing for total alkalinity requires a specialized kit.

    Key Benefits

    • Improves overall water clarity
    • Softens water by lowering hardness
    • Minimizes formation of scale and scum lines
    • Helps remove rust, iron, and metallic staining
    • Provides long-lasting pH stability
    • Reduces the need for excess chlorine and chemicals
    • Uses acid-free, eco-friendly technology that’s safer for swimmers and the environment

    How to Use

Scatter the liquid directly across the surface of the pool. Allow your filtration system to run for at least two hours after application, then retest the pH level. Repeat treatment only if necessary.

Use the following dosage guide based on your current pH reading:

    • If pH is below 7.2, no product is needed.
    • If pH is between 7.2 and 7.8, no product is needed.
    • If pH is between 7.8 and 8.0, add between 8 and 12 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons of water.
    • If pH is between 8.0 and 8.4, add between 16 and 20 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons of water.
    • If pH is above 8.4, add between 24 and 28 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons of water.

Avoid adding more than the recommended amount. Always test water again after the system has circulated before applying a second dose.

    For High Alkalinity Issues

If your water has high total alkalinity (above 100 ppm), this product can help reduce it. The ideal range is 50 to 100 ppm. To reduce total alkalinity by approximately 10 ppm, apply around 16 to 20 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons of water.

    Cautionary Notes

    • Do not mix with other pool chemicals.
    • Never pour water into the product container, as this may cause a hazardous reaction.
    • Avoid use near metal fittings or the skimmer.
    • Always rinse empty containers before disposal.

    Storage and Handling

    • Keep away from skin and eyes. Use gloves made from rubber, neoprene, or nitrile when handling.
    • Do not ingest or inhale product fumes.
    • Remove and thoroughly clean any contaminated clothing before reuse.
    • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
    • Do not expose to temperatures above 100°F or below 40°F.
    • Shake well if stored for an extended period. Product shelf life is up to 12 months.
    • Keep container tightly closed when not in use and protect from moisture.

    Conditions of Sale

Always follow label instructions precisely. EST Inc. accepts no liability for misuse, improper storage, or non-compliance with safety precautions.

  • PH LESS

This product is a dry, granular acid designed to effectively lower the pH and total alkalinity in swimming pool water. Maintaining balanced water chemistry is essential to ensure sanitizer efficiency, prevent scaling, and protect pool equipment.

    Key Benefits

    • Lowers high pH levels quickly and safely
    • Reduces total alkalinity for better chemical control
    • Helps prevent scale buildup and cloudy water
    • Improves sanitizer performance and water clarity
    • Compatible with chlorine, bromine, and saltwater pools

    Usage Directions

To ensure accurate results, always test pH and total alkalinity before adding sanitizer. Use a high-quality pool test kit, and test water regularly throughout the swimming season.

Recommended pH Range: 7.2 to 7.8

Ideal Total Alkalinity: 50 to 100 ppm (use a dedicated alkalinity test kit)

Scatter the dry acid evenly across the pool surface while the filtration system is running. Allow at least 2 hours of circulation before retesting water. If pH is still high, repeat application as needed.

    Dosage Guidelines (per 10,000 gallons):

If pH is below 7.2 – Do not apply

If pH is 7.2 to 7.8 – No treatment necessary

    • If pH is 7.8 to 8.0 – Apply 8 oz
    • If pH is 8.0 to 8.4 – Apply 16 oz
    • If pH is above 8.4 – Apply 24 oz

Do not exceed 2 pounds per 10,000 gallons within a 24-hour period. Excessive use may cause pH to drop too rapidly.

    For High Total Alkalinity

To reduce alkalinity by approximately 10 ppm, apply about 2 pounds of product per 10,000 gallons of water. Retest after 24 hours and repeat if necessary.

    Important Precautions

    • Never add water to this product in the container – always apply dry directly to pool water.
    • Do not mix with other pool chemicals.
    • Avoid application near metal fittings or pool skimmers.
    • Rinse out and dispose of empty containers safely to prevent accidental reactions.
    • Store in a cool, dry place away from children and pets.

    First Aid Measures

    • Skin Contact: Rinse thoroughly with clean water for at least 15 minutes.
    • Eye Contact: Flush eyes with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately.
    • Ingestion: Drink plenty of water or milk. Follow with milk of magnesia, vegetable oil, or beaten eggs. Contact a physician right away.
  • PH PLUS

pH Plus is a specially formulated liquid designed to raise the pH of swimming pool water. Maintaining proper pH is essential for maximizing chlorine efficiency, ensuring swimmer comfort, and protecting pool equipment. When pH drops too low, chlorine becomes overly aggressive, corroding surfaces and irritating skin and eyes.

    Why Proper pH Matters

    • Enhances chlorine performance for more effective sanitation
    • Reduces corrosion of metal components and pool surfaces
    • Improves swimmer comfort by minimizing eye and skin irritation
    • Promotes longer equipment life and reduces chemical waste

    When to Use

Use this product when the pool's pH falls below 7.2. Always test water with a reliable pH test kit before adding any sanitizer, as low pH can affect chlorine stability.

    How to Apply

    • Add pH Plus directly over the main drain while the pool is circulating.
    • For best results, allow at least 2 hours of filtration before retesting pH.
    • Repeat if necessary to reach the ideal pH range of 7.2–7.8.

    Recommended Dosage (per 10,000 gallons)

    • If pH is below 6.6 – Add 1 gallon
    • If pH is between 6.6 and 7.0 – Add ¾ gallon
    • If pH is between 7.0 and 7.2 – Add ½ gallon
    • If pH is already between 7.2 and 7.8 – No treatment is necessary

    Important Notes

    • Avoid overcorrecting pH levels; always make gradual adjustments.
    • Do not mix with other chemicals.
    • Store in a cool, dry place away from children and direct sunlight.
    • Use protective gloves when handling for extended periods.
